What to watch: NFL football on ALL the channels

NFL football, 7 p.m., CBS, ABC, Fox and CW (live)

It's apparently that time of year when your dial is overcome with football. If gridiron action is your thing, this is perfect. (If it's not, skip this entry.) Tonight's preseason NFL action includes the Packers and Chiefs on CBS, the Titans and Vikings on ABC, and the Browns and Bears on Fox. If you prefer prep sports, Millard North and Millard South face off on the CW.

“Anna Karenina,” 8 p.m., HBO (2012)

And now, for those opposed to football: See Keira Knightley do her best Russian socialite, opposite Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

“Project Runway,” 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Lifetime (new)

Kaley Cuoco of “The Big Bang Theory” is among the guest judges during a challenge involving shoes. Also promised: a shocking elimination.

“Wilfred,” 9 p.m., FX (new)

Wilfred's actions on the path to valor put Ryan in danger.

“Panic 9-1-1,” 9 p.m., A&E (new)

A cab driver sees a violent crime, a teenage boy finds an intruder in his house, and a pregnant is trapped inside a burning building.

“Hollywood Game Night,” 9 p.m., NBC (new)

The first season ends with celebrities Tom Arnold, Terry Crews, Emilie de Ravin, Jerry Ferrara, David Giuntoli and Hoda Kotb.
