Pink Gorilla Events is rolling out a new event this fall.

The Lincoln-based organization will offer a two-day bike festival . The group is known for hosting running events, including Market to Market Relay and the Good Life Halfsy.

Organizers teased the Radler Bike Festival, set for Aug. 3 and 4. The event’s website says the festival combines “European cycling culture, Americana camping life, and adult day camp.” The weekend celebration is open to riders of all skill levels, and there’s something for music, game and beer enthusiasts, too, the site said.

Pink Gorilla has been asked to host a bike event before, said organizer Ben Cohoon. The festival has been in the works for 18 months, he said.

Organizers would not provide more detail, but said more information, including its location, will be announced at a launch party on May 1. Registration for the bike festival opens May 24.

The launch party runs from 4 to 7 p.m. May 1 at Kinkaider Taproom, 201 N. Seventh St. in Lincoln.
