Learn about food science

Learn how science is used to make food during a free food science program Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Millard library branch, 13214 Westwood Lane. Explore your sense of taste and use heat, cold, gas and evaporation to make and eat a variety of food. The program is open to kids in third through fifth grade. The event is limited to 30 kids.
