Ready for a road trip this weekend?

Sargent will be hopping as it holds the Nebraska Junkathon flea market this weekend for the fifth straight year.

Vendors from across Nebraska and neighboring states will be gathering in this small town on the edge of the sandhills.

Several local antique and gift stores will also be open. Sales open at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Don’t worry about the rain. There’s plenty of places to shop inside.

The historic Livery Stable, the oldest building in Sargent, has been converted into an antique store, with stalls full of primitives.
