Christine Miller cried at her wedding.

Again.

This time, her ceremony was a do-over, with TV personality Steve Harvey officiating at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Theme Park in Florida.

Yes, that’s the Steve Harvey of “The Steve Harvey Show” (and Miss Universe mix-up) fame. And yes, this is the same couple who had another unforgettable wedding day, as reported in a World-Herald article in December.

You can soak in every detail of the Millers’ Florida wedding on Harvey’s show this week. It’s airing all five days.

“I didn’t think this would get so big, at all,” Christine said. “It’s insane.”

Christine and Jon’s original wedding day last fall was disrupted when the bride had an allergic reaction to her floral arrangements. Christine and her family had picked flowers on their property near Lincoln. Early during her wedding day, she had a serious reaction, and her condition deteriorated to the point that she could barely see. She spent most of her reception at an emergency clinic.

Christine said she had tried to brush off the original disaster, but it really hit her the second time around. The couple’s second wedding took place earlier this year during the taping of Harvey’s show.

“I think having somebody handing me a bouquet I could see, and seeing my husband — and my dad crying. Actually seeing people and seeing their faces” made her more emotional, Christine said.

Everything else that has happened since her story became public has been pure fun. Their story has been featured in articles across the world, in Australia, Sweden and recently People magazine.

Christine is even getting free clothes. She’s been asked to model outfits on Instagram for Never Lose Hope Designs. She loves that some of the proceeds are going to relief in Haiti.

“That’s easy and fun to do,” Christine said.

But appearing on “The Steve Harvey Show” has been the icing on the cake, so to speak.

The couple have made two trips to Florida, where Harvey put on a whole new wedding with some guests from home. They aren’t supposed to share details before the shows air.

All their expenses were paid, including personal tour guides around the Disney parks.

“We didn’t have to wait for a single ride,” Christine said.

Christine had told Harvey’s producer that the couple wanted someday to hold another ceremony in Hawaii; Harvey surprised them with a trip to the islands.

And there’s yet another surprise: Jon and Christine just found out they are expecting in September, so Harvey renamed the trip to Hawaii. “He called it a babymoon,” Christine said.

While their journey has been fun, Christine said the couple have experienced some stress. She’s a real estate agent, so she’s able to amend her schedule. It hasn’t been as easy for Jon, an engineer who works in construction management.

Christine said all the attention hasn’t changed them much, although it’s forced two introverts out of their shells.

“We still live our simple little life that we like,” Christine said.

Without the flower picking.

Christine had one last take from the whole television experience. They learned during the taping, she said, that they’re horrible actors.

“We’re really bad,” she said. “My excuse the whole time is we’re from Nebraska, and we don’t do this.”
