Nabity

“He’s made a ton of football plays out here and looks like a good player,” NU coach Mike Riley said about Graham Nabity.

Coach Mike Riley was asked to name a few walk-ons who have made an impact on offense this spring. He didn’t want to single anyone out. Then he couldn’t help himself.

Junior I-back Graham Nabity from Elkhorn, who contributed on special teams last year, has made a push within Nebraska’s talented group of ball carriers. Nabity earned an unprompted shout-out from offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf earlier in the week. Riley did the same Saturday.

“He’s made a ton of football plays out here and looks like a good player,” Riley said.

Riley noted that he’s spotted several other walk-ons making positive first impressions, too.

“There’s too many to mention, which is a good thing,” he said.
