Caleb Badura, who this summer won the Nebraska Match Play tournament and was runner-up in the Nebraska Amateur, has announced that he's transferring to Nebraska to play golf.

Badura is transferring from Northwestern College, where he was the GPAC player of the year this spring. He finished his freshman season with a 73.6 scoring average, second-best in program history.

Before college, Badura won Class B individual state titles for Aurora in 2017 and 2018. He helped the Huskies win the team title in 2017.

"Being able to come home and play at the Division I level for the Huskers is a dream come true," Badura said.
