Shatel: Bigger and better football facilities are being built. Time for Nebraska to join in

Nebraska players go through their indoor practices at the Hawks Championship Center. Meanwhile, other football programs around the country have built state-of-the-art facilities.

After practice, the Huskers leave the indoor field and trudge through a lobby, up two flights of narrow stairs and then over a bridge to their locker room area. A trip that’s probably about 50 yards.
