There's no doubt about it — Keyshawn Johnson Jr. is 100 percent committed to Nebraska.
That's what the Husker commit said during a Wednesday appearance on the "The Bottom Line" with Mike'l Severe. Fresh off an official visit this past weekend, Johnson Jr. is even more convinced that Lincoln is his future home.
During the interview, he talks more about the experience of his first night game at Memorial Stadium, explains how he helps recruit other highly-rated prospects, gives updates on his teammates Darnay Holmes and Brendan Radley-Hiles — both Husker targets — and more.
Watch the video below for his full interview and also read select excerpts.
On how good Radley-Hiles is:
As good as he wants to be, really. I tell him all the time he makes me better everyday, and he tells me all the time I make him better everyday. It's just a competition with guys on our team every single day. Overall, he's a really good player.
On how his official visit went:
It was my first night game at Memorial Stadium. That was pretty cool to me. I got the chance to tailgate, but it was raining. It wasn't a big deal, though. I still had fun. I got to hang out with the other guys that came out with me — Jamire (Calvin), Tristan (Gebbia) and Darnay (Holmes). Overall, it was a really good trip. I'm coming out for the Oregon game and hopefully that's just as fun as it was last week.
On whether other schools still recruit him:
You'll always have schools still. The recruiting process isn't over until February. I tell them a thank you, but no thank you type thing. I'm always respectful with them. If they want to talk to me, I'm not going say, "No, I'm committed to a school." But I let them know vocally that I am committed, and I'm 100 percent committed. I do have schools. I'm not going to mention them, but I have a couple schools that are still recruiting me. But as everyone knows, I'm 100 percent committed to Nebraska.
