LINCOLN — One of Nebraska’s top cornerback targets for the 2020 recruiting class instead picked an SEC school Tuesday.

Joshuah Moten, who plays at the National Christian Academy in the Washington, D.C., metro area, announced his commitment to Texas A&M. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Moten visited the Huskers on June 21 after visiting the Aggies the week prior.

Moten is a four-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite, and had previously been committed to Penn State.

NU remains at seven commits for the 2020 recruiting class. Four prospects — offensive tackle Alex Conn, cornerback Tamon Lynum, nose tackle Nash Hutmacher and outside linebacker Blaise Gunnerson — selected the Huskers in the past two weeks. Three prospects who officially visited Nebraska — inside linebacker Malik Reed, inside linebacker Cody Simon and Moten — picked Wisconsin, Ohio State and Texas A&M, respectively.
