Here's a transcript from today's show:

Welcome to the Carriker Chronicles, the people's show, where we check the pulse of Husker Nation.

I had to sneak out into a hallway and the pulse of Husker Nation is a little bit up and down. It's like a roller coaster of emotions right now. If you follow me on social media, this is a real life version of I guess what it feels like when the Grinch steals Christmas. We wait 272 days, and then we get a weather delay, and a cancellation, and the game might be played, then it's not going to be played and now it's canceled.

The tunnel walk was cool. The Fox guys on TV wouldn't be quiet, but the tunnel walk was cool. It was a lot of pandemonium, a lot of excitement in the stadium. People were ready, people were rolling. It's interesting, I'm still getting a ton of questions: "Adam, how does this affect the team going forward?" "Adam, will they be ready? They don't have the experience." The questions are going to keep rolling in.

So, to answer the questions I've gotten so far, it would have been huge. Game one to game two is where you make the biggest leap that you have. Now they don't have that big leap from game one to game two and improvement on the field, especially with a true freshman quarterback. As far as getting ready, well, they know what the pregame ritual is going to be like. But as far as getting in the rhythm of a game, Colorado looked pretty good vs. Colorado State. I really wish we had gotten this game in, but next Saturday vs. Colorado, if there was a dome on Memorial Stadium, we would have played tonight, but the roof would be blown off that dome, I know that for sure. It's going to be blown off this Saturday against Colorado because now that is the season opener.

The questions keep rolling in. I had to sneak out into the hallway right now, but as they keep rolling in, tune in tomorrow night, Sunday night, 8 p.m. Central time on Facebook. I'm going to answer all those questions that you have, that you keep sending my way. Keep hitting me up. I'm going to do my Facebook Live. It's still going to happen, each and every Sunday 8 p.m. Central time, no matter what happens. I will see you then. Check out Carriker Chronicles Monday through Friday. Go Big Red and always remember to throw the bones!
