Several former Huskers are signed as free agents following the NFL draft according to World-Herald confirmations and other media reports.

The World-Herald will keep track of them all here:

» WR Stanley Morgan, Cincinnati Bengals

» LB Luke Gifford, Dallas Cowboys

» RB Devine Ozigbo, New Orleans Saints

» LB Dedrick Young, Cleveland Browns

» S Aaron Williams, Arizona Cardinals

Jerald Foster accepted a minicamp invite to the New York Giants, while Tanner Farmer will attend two minicamps: the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans.

For the first time since 1962, the Huskers did not have a single player selected in the NFL draft.

Former Huskers to watch in free agency include Freedom Akinmoladun, Antonio Reed and Tre Neal, even though Neal said at NU’s Pro Day he wasn’t sure he’d pursue pro football.
