Former Nebraska coach Bo Pelini will make the same base salary at Youngstown State as his fired predecessor according to reports Tuesday.

WFMJ, a TV station in Youngstown, reported Pelini signed his four-year contract and will make $213,894 in base salary. He'll receive a $3,000 bonus for winning in the Missouri Valley, a $3,000 bonus for each game in the FCS playoffs and $20,000 for winning the national title.

Pelini's predcessor, Eric Wolford, made the same, according to a Aug. 30, 2014 story in the Youngstown Vindicator.

Nebraska owed Pelini up to $7.9 million in payouts for firing him, but that payout will be mitigated by his salary at Youngstown State.
