Former Nebraska cornerback Alfonzo Dennard spent all of one day on waivers after he was cut by the Patriots

According to a ESPN reporter in Boston, Dennard was claimed Wednesday by the Arizona Cardinals.

Dennard joins a roster with one proven, elite corner (Patrick Peterson), a long-term starter who's roughly about Dennard's size (seven-year veteran Jerraud Powers), a safety who's quickly become one of the better young players in the NFL (Deone Bucannon) and a variety of unproven, relatively young options at corner.

In short, it's a good spot in which Dennard could land.
