The Tyjon Lindsey recruiting sweepstakes now has an end date: Aug. 22. The four-star prospect announced the news on Twitter a couple hours after participating in Nebraska's satellite camp.

Lindsey's a 5-foot-9, 180-pound receiver, listed as the No. 28 overall player nationally on the 247 Sports composite rankings of 2017 recruits. The Corona, California, product is a dynamic athlete overflowing with potential. And now he has a final nine.

Auburn, Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, USC, Oregon and Alabama. He'll pick one of those nine schools in a few months.

Lindsey told reporters Sunday that a positive experience during his spring game visit to Nebraska and his growing relationship with receivers coach Keith Williams have altered his timeline a bit. "It changed my whole process," Lindsey said.

Lindsey said he enjoyed his experience Sunday with Williams, too — getting a firsthand glance of what it's like to be instructed by the NU receiver coach. Lindsey appreciated Williams' energy and enthusiasm. As Williams is known to do, he celebrated catches with Lindsey and sprinted alongside him as he completed his routes.

"He's like one of my teammates," Lindsey said. "We've got a bond like that. ... A brotherly love type of bond. He actually wants to get to know me, and all that."

Lindsey said he intends to take an official visit to Lincoln this fall. For the Oregon game on Sept. 17.
