Sioux City Heelan tight end Branden Hohenstein announced his commitment to walk on at Nebraska on Twitter Sunday.

The 6-foot-4, 204-pounder is a preferred walk-on, according to Nate Clouse of Husker Online.

Nebraska has one scholarship tight end commitment in Jack Stoll, a three-star prospect from Colorado.

Hohenstein had 25 receptions for 494 yards and four scores for Heelan as a senior.
