Nebraska’s search for inside linebackers in the 2020 recruiting class continues after four-star prospect Cody Simon picked Ohio State over the Huskers and Penn State on Saturday.

Simon, from St. Peter’s Prep School in New Jersey, visited Nebraska on June 7. He visited Ohio State two weeks later.

On Tuesday, Nebraska lost out on inside linebacker Malik Reed of Chandler, Arizona, who picked Wisconsin over the Huskers.

NU remains in the hunt for inside linebackers Devyn Curtis of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Choe Bryant-Strother of Norcross, Georgia. Both visited in June.
