Why must I pay for use of the app?

Our newspaper is a trusted source for news. It takes trained journalists to provide that kind of coverage. Charging for digital access allows us to continue to invest in the type a quality news report.

Can I read a certain number of articles for free like your website?

Yes. You may read 25 articles each 30-day period at no charge. If you read more, you will need a subscription. Pages that list articles, such as the native app home page, do not count. The 25-article limit is subject to change in the future. The 30-day periods are rolling and begin the first day you read the native app after metering begins Oct. 14.

How do I log in to your app?

When you reach your monthly limit, you will be prompted to enter the username and password provided when you created an All Access account (Platinum Rewards where applicable). If you do not have an All Access account, go to our website for more information or call customer service.

The app will not take my username and password. What do I do?

Please call customer service and an agent will be able to assist you. You may also use the email address for the newspaper’s circulation department.

Can I use a different e-mail address than the one on file?

You must use the same email address on file for your All Access account. If you would like to change that e-mail address, use online account management at the newspaper’s website or call our customer service center.

Do you have a digital-only subscription?

Yes. You may purchase a plan with unlimited use of web, mobile web, e-edition and the native app.

Can I purchase just the app?

Not at this time.

Why do I keep getting logged out?

You will be logged out every 14 days. Just use the same username and password to log back in.

I just signed up. Why can’t I log in?

In some cases, it may take time for the account to take effect. For immediate assistance, call customer service.

How do I change my password for the app?

You will do this on the newspaper website through account management or you may call customer service. If you change your password for the app, it will change for web, mobile web and the e-edition, too.

Do I need to update the app?

We encourage you to download all updates to our app. The updates often include new features or fixes to problems detected by readers.
