A: OWH Store answers research inquiries regarding past articles appearing in the Omaha World-Herald. Articles from 1885 to present are generally available. For more information, e-mail OWH Store at owhstore@owh.com

 

Q: How do I search for a story less than 7 days old on Omaha.com?

A: To find a story on Omaha.com use the search box at the top left of any page.

If the story/article that you are searching for is not on the list please e-mail webmaster@omaha.com.

 

Q: Is The Record online?

A: The Record -- marriage licenses, bankruptcies, building permits and real estate transfers -- is published as space is available in the newspaper, usually daily. Recent and past editions of The Record are available online at Omaha.com/record.

 

Q: How can I purchase a back issue of the Omaha World-Herald?

A: The current month's issues are available for purchase at the counter in our 13th & Douglas Streets lobby. A daily back issue costs $2.00 and a Sunday back issue is $4.00. You may also look something up in the current month's papers on display in the lobby. To order a back issue by mail, write our Back Issues Department Lobby Counter, World-Herald Building, Omaha, NE 68102, or call (402) 444-1419. The cost to have a daily back issue mailed to you is $4.00; Sunday is $6.00.

 

Q: How can I get copies of photos that appeared in the Omaha World-Herald?

A: Photographs published in the Omaha World-Herald can be purchased directly from the Omaha World-Herald OWH Store. For more information, e-mail LibraryLink at owhstore@owh.com.
