Omaha-raised comedian and actor Adam Devine has a new comedy special on Netflix.

And there’s something special for his hometown fans: It was filmed in Omaha.

Star of “Workaholics” and “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,” Devine filmed his special at the Orpheum Theater last year.

“Adam Devine: Best Time of Our Lives” will drop on Netflix on Tuesday.

While he was in town, Devine also visited Omaha’s Children’s Hospital, where he spent weeks as a patient when he was 11 years old.

Devine was born in Waterloo, Iowa, but raised in Omaha. He attended Millard South, and he’s the star of dozens of movies and TV shows. He co-created and starred in Comedy Central’s “Workaholics” and took roles in the first two “Pitch Perfect” movies, “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” and the Netflix originals “When We First Met” and “Game Over, Man.”

Devine will also soon appear in the HBO comedy “The Righteous Gemstones,” alongside Danny McBride and John Goodman.
