Several Omaha businesses are offering free services for federal workers affected by the government shutdown.
» Every Friday for the duration of the shutdown, Zipline Brewing Co. will fill one free growler with the beer of choice for each furloughed worker who presents ID proving their employment.
The terms of “Furlough Fill Friday” will be honored at all Zipline locations in Lincoln and Omaha, according to a release from the brewery.

» At Alamo Drafthouse Omaha, 12750 Westport Parkway in La Vista, all federal employees affected by the shutdown will be eligible for one free movie ticket per day from Monday through Thursday in January. Tickets are valid for federal employees only — not guests — with presentation of a federal ID at the box office. Tickets are valid for all current and new releases, but cannot be used for specialty programming, including advanced screenings or movie parties.
» The Omaha Symphony is offering free tickets to furloughed workers for Sunday's 2 p.m. performance of "South Pacific in Concert." Each worker can get two tickets by visiting the Holland Center box office, 1200 Douglas St., and showing their government ID.
» Ref’s Sports Bar & Grill, 9725 Giles Road in La Vista, is offering a free meal, of $10 value, per person with proof of government employment. Alcohol is not included, and the meals are dine-in only.
» In Lincoln, Cosmic Eye Brewing Co. is offering complimentary 13-ounce pours to federal workers who present ID.
