Feb. 15

Omaha Beer Week Kickoff

When: 5 to 7 p.m.

Where: Scriptown Brewing Co., 3922 Farnam St.

What: The event includes the release of a special Omaha Beer Week and Scriptown collaboration beer, a Doppelsticke Alt. There will be a raffle for Beer Week swag and bus tour tickets for sale on-site.

Craft Beer Bingo with Fernson Brewing Co.

When: 9 to 11 p.m.

Where: Smitty's Garage Burgers and Beer, 7610 Dodge St.

What: Smitty's is teaming up with Sioux Falls' Fernson Brewing Co. for a free night of bingo with prizes for the winners. 

Feb. 16

Drink Local All Day Pint Night

When: 11 a.m. to close

Where: Crescent Moon Ale House, 3578 Farnam St.

What: A celebration of Nebraska beer. Score a free "Drink Local" pint glass with your first purchase of a Nebraska beer. Refills of Nebraska beer will be discounted throughout the day.

Firkin Good Beer Festival

When: 1 to 5 p.m.

Where: Upstream Brewing Co., 514 S. 11th St.

What: Upstream hosts a cask-conditioned beer festival and fundraiser. Tickets are $25 in advance and are available at bit.ly/2I4dNVI. The price jumps to $35 the day of the event. All proceeds benefit the Food Bank for the Heartland and the Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild. The afternoon includes unlimited samples of cask and barrel-aged beers from more than a dozen participating Nebraska breweries. Special beers, brewed in collaboration with local homebrew clubs, will also be available. Customers who bring nonperishable food items will receive extra raffle tickets. Prizes include brewery gift certificates, tours and more. 

Feb. 17

Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing

When: 1 to 7 p.m.

Where: Growler USA, 16268 Evans Plaza

What: Select from 100 beers on tap to pair with a plate of Girl Scout cookies. The Girl Scouts will be on-site selling boxes of cookies.

Nebraska Craft Beer Trivia Night

When: 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: Local Beer, Patio & Kitchen, 4909 S 135th St.

What: Questions inspired by The World-Herald's new beer book. Prizes will include gift cards, crowlers, T-shirts and signed copies of the book. To RSVP, call 402-991-8852.

Monday, Feb. 18

Mornin' Delight with Sarah Baker Hansen and Omaha Dines

When: 6 to 9 p.m. 

Where: Blatt Beer & Table at Shops of Legacy, 2835 S. 170th Plaza

What: Blatt will pair Toppling Goliath Brewery's Mornin' Delight, King Sue and Pseudo Sue with new menu items. World-Herald food critic Sarah Baker Hansen will be on-site. 

Beer & Donut Pairing

When: 5 to 7 p.m.

Where: Pint Nine Brewing Co., 10411 Portal Road

What: Pint Nine and Bob's Donuts are collaborating on a beer and doughnut pairing. The brewery will serve four half-pints with four pastry items.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

Craft Carnival

When: 3 to 10 p.m.

Where: Vis Major Brewing Co., 3501 Center St.

What: The carnival will include games, cotton candy-topped beer, tarot card readings, costumes and treats. Children are welcome from 3 to 8 p.m.

Lazy Horse & Golf Competitions

When: 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Where: Beyond Golf, 12040 McDermott Plaza

What: Ohiowa's Lazy Horse Brewing Co. will be offering samples. Compete in golf competitions for prizes from 4 to 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

It Floats! Craft Raft Night

When: 7 p.m. to close

Where: St. Andrew's Pub, 6102 Maple St.

What: For an extra $0.50, you can add a scoop of ice cream to any beer to make it a "craft raft" float.

Triple Your Quad Reps

When: 3 to 11 p.m.

Where: Bärchen Beer Garden, 6209 Maple St.

What: For $18, you get a flight of five featuring: the Veltins Pilsner, Sünner Kölsch, Veltins Grevensteiner Original, Brouwerij Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet and the La Trappe Quad.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Thursday Afternoon Book Club

When: 3 to 10 p.m.

Where: Kros Strain Brewing Co., 10411 Portal Road

What: Bring a book for donation and get $1 off per pour. The brewery will be releasing its new beer, Thursday Afternoon Book Club, a white-wine-yeast-fermented passion fruit beer.

Beer, Beer, Bags and Beer

When: 5:30 to 11 p.m.

Where: 1912, 6201 Maple St.

What: Compete in a bags tournament for cash prizes, swag and special beers. The event is limited to 20 teams. Dogfish Head, Deschutes and Stone Brewing will be on-site.

Friday, Feb. 22

Boulevard Tasting with Jeremy Danner

When: 9 to 11 p.m.

Where: Beercade, 6104 Maple St.

What: Boulevard Brewing Co. ambassador Jeremy Danner will lead a private tasting and open Q&A in the Beercade basement.  The event is limited to 28 seats. Tickets are $25 and are only available at Beercade. The night will include free games and a raffle for prizes. 

Odell Brewing Pint Night

When: 11 a.m. to midnight

Where: Sean O'Casey's Pub, 2523 S. 140th Ave.

What: Keep the glass with your first purchase and get refills of Odell Brewing Co. beers at a reduced price. Four beers will be featured, including the Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum Triple IPA.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Extreme presented by Beertopia

When: 3 to 7 p.m.

Where: Ralston Arena, 7300 Q St. in Ralston

What: The 13th annual Extreme event will feature more than 300 beers with representatives from many breweries on-site. New this year is a special Pro-Am section and the chance to win a trip to Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware, or Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico, California. Polka Party

When: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Where: Bärchen Beer Garden, 6209 Maple St.

What: A polka party sponsored by Weihenstephaner. The event will include $5 half-liters and $9 liters of Weihenstephaner beer all day. Brewery swag will be given away with beer purchases. 

Sunday, Feb. 24

Extreme Brunch

When: 10 a.m. to close

Where: 1912, 6201 Maple St.

What: Recover from Extreme beerfest with a brunch featuring beer-inspired food, bloody marys and mimosas. 

Founders Finders Keepers

When: 2 p.m. to close

Where: St. Andrew's Pub, 6102 Maple St.

What: A to-be-announced selection of Founders Brewing Co. beers will be on tap.

It's Not Hard to Say 'Good Buy' to OBW

What: St. Andrew's will hold a clearance sale with discounted prices on Omaha Beer Week brew.
