We’ve all found ourselves on a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha while the engine moans its one-note song.

Or in Omaha, somewhere in the middle of America.

Or jamming at Sokol Auditorium, a party in the night time.

Omaha and its poetic pronunciation have found a way into many tunes from country artists, rock bands, troubadours and indie rockers. Some lines are merely a mention, but others get deeper into what’s going on in Omaha.
