Dereck Higgins is among this year's inductees to the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame. 

The Nebraska Music Hall of Fame is set to induct a dozen new acts.

On June 30, those artists will be inducted into the hall of fame with a concert and ceremony at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel And Convention Center.

This year’s inductees are multi-genre musician and “Old Music Friday” host Dereck Higgins, ’60s act Beehive, singer Camille Metoyer Moten, cover group Daybreak, polka icon Jimmy Bochnicek, accordion man and host Johnny Ray Gomez, jazz bandleader Jorge Nila, singer Richetta Wilson, Mannheim Steamroller’s Ron Cooley, bandleader Everett Yates, rock band The Rumbles and booking agent and longtime city councilman Subby Anzaldo.

The event will begin at 4 p.m., and tickets are available at The Ramada Plaza venue is located at 3321 S. 72nd St.
