Loessfest has been rescheduled.

Since the free series of events and concerts launched in 2013, Loessfest has been held on Memorial Day weekend at Tom Hanafan River's Edge park in Council Bluffs. But after spring flooding, the event has been postponed.

Loessfest 2019 will take place on Labor Day weekend to ensure the park is dry and back to normal.

Events will kick off on Aug. 30 and last through Sept. 1. The event's full lineup will be announced in May.

River's Edge Park is on the Iowa side of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge.

Past headliners at Loessfest included the Beach Boys, Three Dog Night, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Chicago. Other events include more concerts, movie screenings, golf tournaments, bike rides, comedy and fireworks.
