Award-winning tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover is bringing his “SoLe Santuary” performance to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater on Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

During the routine, the stage is set as an altar where Glover takes the art of tap through time. He pays homage to the great tap dancers of the 20th century, including one of his former teachers, Gregory Hines.

Glover, a Tony Award-winning dancer, choreographer and producer, has starred in several Broadway shows, including “Bring in ’Da Noise, Bring in ’Da Funk.” He has also appeared in several films. He choreographed and performed dance moves for the animated feature films “Happy Feet” and “Happy Feet 2.”
