Aaron Lewis is the third act announced for Stir Cove's summer concert series.

The former Staind frontman and current country singer will play the outdoor venue on May 27. Southern rock band

Blackberry Smoke will open the show.

Lewis came to prominence fronting the hard rock band Staind, but fans took notice when a solo acoustic version of Staind's "Outside" became a hit in 2001. He released a country EP, "Town Line," in 2011 and a full-length album, "The Road," in 2012.

Lewis is working on a second solo album, and he performs both solo material and Staind songs.

Tickets, $38, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
