For those of you who have not yet awoken to the true nature of reality, “The Matrix” is the Wachowskis’ sci-fi masterpiece, in which Keanu Reeves plays a hacker who is finally told the truth: That what he thinks is real is just a simulation, that his body is actually hooked up to a bunch of tubes and lying in a vat of goo, his and billions of other bodies helping power the machines that took over the world in the wake of the A.I. singularity ... but, it’s OK. He knows kung fu.
