Here is a list of some of the events local bars have planned for Super Bowl Sunday.

The Den, 711 N. 114th St., will open at 3 p.m. for the game. Free sloppy Joes and chips at halftime, free snacks prior to that, and outside food is welcome. Additionally, the Den will offer $6 pitchers, $2 domestic drafts and $12 buckets, as well as $2 house shots for every touchdown. Giveaways of bar tabs, T-shirts, hats and more throughout the game.

The Loose Moose, 4915 N. 120th St., will offer $12 towers of beers, as well as other drink specials, 25-cent wings, giveaways throughout the game and music by local group Hi-Fi Hangover. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m.

Scorz Sports Center, 7602 Main Street in Ralston, will offer $1 draws, $5 pitchers, $1 Jell-O shots and a special treat for fans of both the Ravens and the 49ers. The bar will serve “pig skin” sandwiches for Ravens fans and avocado turkey melts for 49ers-fans — just like inside the teams’ stadiums. Party starts at 4 p.m.

The Waiting Room Lounge, 6212 Maple St., will show the game on its big-screen projector and will offer free food and drink specials. Starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St., will open at 4 p.m. on Sunday and will also show the game on their big screen, while offering free food and drink specials.

Jake’s Cigars and Spirits, 6206 Maple St., is hosting a chili cook-off in honor of the game. To enter, bring your creation to the bar by 3:30 p.m. Or, don’t enter and just bring your appetite and eat chili while you watch the game.

Brewsky’s burgers are $3.99 and 24-ounce cans of Bud, Bud Light and Busch Light are $4.50, apple pie shots are $2, and there will be giveaways throughout the game at all of the bar’s Omaha locations.

Anchor Inn, 5413 S. 72nd St., will offer $2.75 Bud Lite and Busch Light 22-ounce draws, $10 buckets of Busch Light, $12 buckets of Bud and Bud Light, 50-cent wings and free hot dogs and chili at halftime.

The Brass Monkey, 5611 S. 36th St., will offer free ribs, $1 domestic bottles and cans, $6 pitchers, $3 craft pints and 30 shots for $1 each all day long.
