John Gajewski is the owner of the 200th location, and has been a Scooter's franchise owner for 11 years. Founders Don and Linda Eckles opened Scooter’s Coffee in Bellevue in March 1998, and Gajewski was vice president of human resources at an insurance company in Omaha. He drove past the original location on his way to work, and saw coffee grow in popularity.

In 2007, he purchased Scooter's. The coffee shop is now in 14 states. For more information, or to find a location near you, visit scooterscoffee.com.
