Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba of Blink-182 will play Stir Cove in September.

Blink-182 is coming back to town for the first time in a decade.

The “All the Small Things” pop punk trio will play Stir Cove on Sept. 7.

Blink-182 last played the area when they stopped at Westfair Amphitheater in 2009, and the date comes one year after the band canceled a scheduled concert at Stir. Blink-182 was set to play the venue in 2018, but called it off due to a health issue with drummer Travis Barker.

Blink-182 scored an early hit with 1997’s “Dammit,” and a string of hits including No. 1 songs “All the Small Things,” “I Miss You” and “Bored to Death,” followed with 11 more top-10 alternative songs and four platinum albums.

Blink-182 features singer/bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Barker and singer/guitarist Matt Skiba. A guitarist and singer of Alkaline Trio, Skiba replaced original Blink singer Tom DeLonge in 2016.

Blink-182 released its first non-DeLonge album, “California,” in 2016.

Tickets to see Blink-182 at Stir Cove this summer go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.
