Pauline Song Seymour and Tyler Lee Sosi were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Salem United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Pastor Joseph Hall officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony. A reception was held at the Hilton Omaha.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Pal Yo Seymour of Council Bluffs. Pauline earned a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She then went on to medical school and graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, and completed her residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. She is a podiatric Physician/Surgeon, practicing at Council Bluffs Foot and Ankle Care. The groom is the son of Tammy Reeser and Marty Kohl of Council Bluffs. Tyler is a carpenter, with plans to start his own business in the near future.
The maid of honor was Christine Talley, best friend of the bride, from Chicago, Illinois. The bridesmaids were Lilly Khavari-Salamat of Dallas, Annabelle Dookie of Cooper City, Florida, Mary Clare Zavada of Crofton, Maryland, and Felicia Caddell of Council Bluffs, all friends of the bride; Shandy Seymour of Council Bluffs, sister-in-law of the bride; Meghan Kohl of Council Bluffs, sister of the groom; and Destiny Hyme of Council Bluffs, family friend of the bride. The flower girl was Nicole Jenson of Council Bluffs, family friend of the bride, and daughter of Felicia Caddell.
The bestman was Scott Tabor of Council Bluffs, best friend of the groom. The groomsman were Mitchell Kohl of Council Bluffs and Matthew Kohl of Beaverton, Oregon, brothers of the groom; Jonathan and Thomas Seymour, of Council Bluffs, brothers of the bride; Sean Tomair of Gretna, Nebraska, best friend of the groom; Dave Milner and Mike Tornblom of Council Bluffs, both friends of the groom. Ring-bearer was Ronan Seymour of Council Bluffs, nephew of the bride, and son of Jonathan and Shandy Seymour.
Ushers were Luigi Sosi of Chicago, brother of the groom and Anna Sosi of Vieques, Puerto Rico, sister of the groom. Guest book attendant was Kelli Ashe of Jesup, Georgia, friend of the bride.
The musicians for the ceremony were Kim Meyer, harpist and Erin Cosby, violinist, both of Omaha.
The couple traveled to the Eastern Caribbean for their honeymoon. Tyler and Pauline have made their home in Council Bluffs.
