Stock, Eunice

May 19, 1922 - Feb 27, 2016

Eunice Stock, a loving woman of many talents, passed away at Oxbow Assisted Living in Ashland. Shewasborn in Big Springs, NE. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Reuben. They celebrated 71 years together. She was a retired teacher who believed every child needed to be loved. Eunice spread her life long love of music through her 27 years of teaching, choir directing at church for 64 years, and singing with Reuben and many other small groups. After retiring from teaching, she devoted her time to the care of her mother and sister. She did extensive research and published genealogy books for both Reuben's and her families. She was active in United Methodist Women and served as a state officer. Eunice was a life long learner, learning to play the organ after retiring. Other survivors include Jim and Lindy Stock, Murdock, Joseph and Jean Stock, Wallingford, PA, Jane and Jack McVay, Lincoln; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many loving family and friends. In addition to Reuben, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice, Ruth, and Marybelle.

SERVICES 11 am Tuesday, March 1 at the Murdock United Methodist Church. VISITATION Monday, February 29 at the Church from 4-8 pm with family greeting friends from 6-8 pm. Private family burial prior to the Service. Memorials to Murdock United Methodist Church, Callahan Cemetery, or donor's choice.
