The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging offers weekday lunch meals to people age 60 and older at its senior citizen centers and with the Meals on Wheels program for homebound elderly in the Omaha area. Menus for senior citizen centers for the week of Dec. 9 (include 1% or skim milk):

Monday: Chicken cordon bleu with Swiss Mornay sauce, rosemary country diced potatoes, California blend vegetables, whole-grain dinner roll with margarine, peanut butter cookie or diet cookies.

Tuesday: Italian goulash with whole-grain elbow noodles, Italian blend vegetables, salad blend with dressing, Italian roll with margarine, diced peaches.

Wednesday: Oven-roasted pork loin with pork gravy, baked potato with sour cream, Brussels sprouts, whole-grain petite roll with margarine, decorated birthday cake or plain white cake.

Thursday: Sweet and sour chicken breast, Oriental blend vegetables, whole-grain vegetable egg roll, fortune cookie, cinnamon raisin bread with margarine, tropical fruit mix.

Friday: Seafood chowder, garlic and butter diced reds, mixed vegetables, marble bread slice with margarine, fruit crisp or fruit mix.

Menus for Meals on Wheels for the week of Dec. 9 (include 1% milk):
