PAT SAFFORD Age: 41 Hobbies: Family, radio, video Family: Wife Amy; son Bennett, 12; daughter Sophia, 10

You may not have met Pat Safford, but you probably know his voice. The co-host of the Pat & JT morning show on Q98 (98.5 FM), Safford has been working in radio since the day after he graduated high school. An intern and then a producer for Sweet 98, Safford later worked for 101.9 the Edge, a station in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then, once again, for 98.5.

"I'm lucky enough to have fun every single day when I go to work," Safford said.

When he's not on the air, Safford is usually home spending time with his family.

"If I could spend every second with my kids, I would," he said. Radio has played a big part in Safford's life off the air. He met his wife, Amy, while on a remote broadcast in Lincoln. And when they adopted their two children from Guatemala, the Saffords spoke about the entire process on the radio show.

Over the past couple of years, Safford has gotten into shooting video. He makes videos for friends, and he's created several for the radio station.

Lately, Safford has collected a series of videos of people with interesting stories. He's also working on a series with Nebraska celebrities including Dan Whitney (Larry the Cable Guy) and James Valentine (Maroon 5).

"If I'm not working or screwing around with the kids, I'm out with my cameras. I just can't get enough of it," Safford said.
