BYFUGLIEN SIGNS EXTENSION Winnipeg announced it signed defenseman Dustin Byfuglien to a $38 million, five-year extension. Byfuglien was set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer and would've been one of the hottest commodities ahead of the NHL's Feb. 29 trade deadline.
