Mark Duren

Mark Duren has been named Managing Shareholder of Lutz effective May 1, 2015.Duren succeeds Gary Witt, who has served as Managing Shareholder since 1994. Witt will continue to serve clients and assist the Firm on internal management matters.

Since its inception in 1980,Lutz has grown to be Nebraska's largest CPA and business solutions firm. With more than 160 employees today,Lutz has earned both local and national "Best Places to Work" accolades along the way. "I look forward to the challenge of serving the firm with the same outstanding results Lutz has achieved under Gary's leadership. Gary's continued involvement and mentoring will ensure the firms success well into the future" said Duren.

Duren joined Lutz in 1992 and has made a significant impact on the firm's growth over his tenure. He has held numerous leadership roles at Lutz including membership on the firm's Board of Directors. In addition, he has led both the tax and audit departments, and has been charged with managing and strengthening Lutz's outstanding team members through professional development, mentoring and an award winning work environment.

Duren will continue to build on the momentum established over the last twenty years and uphold the emphasis on superior client service.Duren will be responsible for driving the Firm's strategic direction and continuing to grow both its traditional and nontraditional service offerings including Technology, Financial Services, M&A and Talent.
