Arizona State pledge Jared Bubak ran for 209 yards and three touchdowns, and passed for 146 and two scores.

The visiting Pioneers had 525 yards of offense, 375 on the ground, with quarterback August Namath getting 184 and Lonnie Albertson 101. Namath scored three times and threw a TD pass.

WAYNE 28, ARLINGTON 14

Drew Davie scored twice as Wayne rallied from a 14-0 deficit in the second quarter. Sam Plugge scored both touchdowns for Arlington.

WAHOO 38, WEST POINT-BEEMER 6

Ethan Stratman and Seth Anderson each scored twice for the Class C-1 No. 7 Warriors (2-1).

Cody Fiest had five touchdowns, four by rushing, to increase his season total to 13.

Jake Herz ran for five touchdowns as the Cougars ended an eight-game losing streak.

Trey Stutheit threw for 124 yards and ran for 91 to outduel Mead quarterback Alex Quinn, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for one.

Sophomore Milton Sargbah, Class A's leading rusher, ran for 172 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries. Sam Laferla scored on an 80-yard interception return.
