Septemberfest / FRIDAY MONDAY

The weekend-long event at the CHI Health Center's Lot D includes entertainment, educational and artistic displays, a carnival and a parade. Admission is $7 per person per day; children 5 and younger are free. The Labor Day parade will take place at 10 a.m. Monday in downtown Omaha.

Hutchfest / SUNDAY

Leashes at Lauritzen / MONDAY

Celebrate Labor day by taking your pup to Lauritzen gardens from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be water and treats available throughout the grounds. admission is $10 per person, $5 per dog and free for members. For more info, visit lauritzengardens.org.

LaFesta Italiana / FRIDAY SUNDAY

The festival at Il Palazzo will include Italian food, music, dancing, cooking demos and children's activities, including face painting, photo opportunities, balloon sculptors, a magician, painting easels and bounce houses. For tickets or more info, visit omahaitaly.com.
