Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival/ FRIDAY SATURDAY

Come to Elkhorn's Ta-Ha-Zouka Park for food, drinks, live music and hot air balloons. The family-friendly event, which runs from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday, will feature a balloon launch at 7 and a balloon glow at 9 each night. One Community Cultural Festival/ SUNDAY

The festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at stinson Park in aksarben Village, will feature performances highlighting different cultures from around the world, as well as food, drink and shopping. For more info, visit one community cultural festival. com.

Night Hike at Fontenelle/ SATURDAY

Head out on a 3 to 5-mile hike from 8 to 11 p.m. at Fontenelle Forest. Participants will be able to watch for animal activity as the sun goes down, and discuss the nocturnal life of the forest. Jazz on the Green/ THURSDAY

This week's headliner should inspire the crowd to get up and dance. Marcos & Sabor, a south Omaha combo, plays a Latin jazz mix of Bachata, blues and ballads. They'll take the stage at Turner Park, near 31st and Farnam streets, at 7:30 p.m. The park opens at 5.
