The Classic Glaze



In a large bowl, whisk 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted; 4 Tbsp butter, melted; 2 cup whole milk or water, warm; arid 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Warm: up a dozen store-bought cake doughnuts 3-5 minutes in a 350 oven. Dip both sides of warm doughnuts in glaze. Set on a wire rack to cool.

A Sprinkle of Counout

Sprinkle warm glazed doughnuts with shredded coconut.

Maple Bacon + Pineapple

Substitute 1 1/2 tsp maple syrup for vanilla in glaze. Decorate warm glazed doughnuts with 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon and 1/2 cup diced pineapple.
