Tickets are on sale today for the eighth annual Big Omaha conference on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The event returns May 4 to May 6 to the Kaneko at 1111 Jones St.
Event organizers are promoting this year's conference with a $100 discount to attendees who purchase tickets within the next two weeks. That means tickets are now available for $399. General admission pricing of $499 is in effect after March 1.
Among the first speakers named are Alejandro Velez and Nikhil Arora of Back to the Roots, a San Francisco-based sustainable foods company; Shivani Siroya of Los Angeles-based InVenture, which makes small-dollar loans to people in developing countries; and Matt Halpern of music industry education company the Entertainment Institute.
