Of Omaha, NE. Died suddenly on Saturday, February 6, at his home. He was an autodidact in many areas from technology, to photography, gardening, and home repair, to playing the guitar. Eric was also a Halloween aicionado and co-founder of the Zone of Terror. His irreverence, wit, skepticism, intelligence and most of all his love will be forever missed. Known as Rick to his family, he was born on June 4, 1960, to Mary Ann Andersen and the late Robert V. Andersen, of Cedar Creek, NE. Left to carry on without him are his wife, Robyn M. Andersen; daughter and son-in-law, Alexandra and Logan Russman; twin baby granddaughters, Molly and Lucy; mom Mary Ann Andersen; brother Bob Andersen (Dianne Johnson); sister Darlene Franck (Steve Franck); brother-inlaw Jeff Cronk; nephews, Tim Andersen, Thomas Andersen (Allison Hausman); and his much-beloved and photographed kitties, Comet and Ralphy.

A GATHERING OF REMEMBRANCE will be held at the Andersen home on Saturday, February 13, from 2-4 pm, at 3622 S. 100th Avenue, Omaha. Eric hated winter, cold and snow so a celebration of his life will be held during the summer which was his favorite time of the year.
