The Creighton women's soccer team scored twice in the first 25 minutes and settled for a 2-2 draw with Drake in the first exhibition match for both squads Wednesday at Morrison Stadium.

After Drake scored on a penalty kick less than 90 seconds into the match, Creighton tied it in the ninth minute as Kaira Houser, one of two seniors on the roster, converted an assist from Jaylin Bosak.

Creighton went up 2-1 in the 23rd minute when sophomore transfer Juelle Love scored off a long entry pass from Haylee Blach.

Drake tied it at 2-2 with a goal in the 67th minute.

Creighton, which went 4-11-3 last season, will its second exhibition match at 3 p.m. Friday at Northern Illinois.
