ROSEMOUNT, Minn. — Two second-half goals allowed the Creighton women’s soccer team to rally for a 2-1 win over North Dakota State in the Jays’ final exhibition match of the season on Saturday.

Down 1-0 after the first half, the Bluejays tied the match on an unassisted goal from sophomore Kirstyn Corder in the 60th minute. Corder beat NDSU keeper Sierra Bonham on a slot kick to the lower left corner of the goal at 59:50.

Less than eight minutes later, Creighton took the lead on a goal by senior Lauren Cingoranelli. The Aurora, Colo., native took a pass from freshman Lauren Sullivan and sent it into the lower right corner of the net at 67:47.

The Jays outshot the Bison 15-6 in the match, including 8-2 in the second half.

Creighton opens the regular season at 5 p.m. Friday at Utah State.
