Arkansas scored three goals in the first 26 minutes and held on for a 3-2 exhibition win against the Creighton women's soccer team Wednesday at Morrison Stadium.
Ashleigh Ellenwood scored first for the Razorbacks at the 6:51 mark. Yvonne DesJarlais added goals in the 18th and 26th minutes.
The teams, which played three 30-minute periods, went scoreless in the second period.
Sophomore Kirstyn Corder got Creighton on the board in the 62nd minute, when she collected a deflected shot and fired it past Arkansas keeper Taylor Erwin.
Senior forward Lauren Cingoranelli pulled Creighton within 3-2 in the 79th minute, when she gathered a deflection off Erwin and scored from 15 yards away.
Creighton goalie Danielle Rice, a freshman, finished with nine saves.
Creighton plays another exhibition at 1 p.m. Saturday against North Dakota State at Rosemount, Minn. The Bluejays open their regular season at Utah State on Aug. 23. Their first home game will be at 5 p.m. on Aug. 30 against North Dakota.
