Creighton women's basketball has added graduate transfer Morgan Turner.

The 6-foot-2 forward from Guston, Kentucky, sat out last season for Lipscomb because of an injured back. She's expected to provide depth on the block.

Turner played in 21 games with 10 starts as a sophomore during the 2016-17 season, averaging 15.4 points per game. In 49 career games at Lipscomb, Turner had 153 points, 109 rebounds and 29 assists.

"We do not typically go the transfer route, but Morgan fits the Creighton culture very well," Creighton coach Jim Flanery said in a press release. "We like her versatility and her experience. She can stretch the defense and also provide a presence in the paint."
