Creighton's players pose for photographs after clinching the 2019 Big East regular season title Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park. The Jays entered the D1Baseball.com Top 25 rankings on Monday. They're No. 25.

Creighton's strong finish to the 2019 regular season has caught the attention of the sport's national analysts.

The Jays were ranked No. 25 in this week's D1Baseball.com Top 25 poll and the Baseball America Top 25. It's the first time CU has been ranked in a major poll since the 2016 season.

CU clinched the Big East regular season title Saturday with a series sweep of Villanova. The Jays have a produced a 10-1 record in their last 11 games.

They're surely set to end a seven-year NCAA tournament drought. Their top-25 RPI ranking and 21-5 road record have many experts predicting they'll earn a No. 2 seed in a regional when the 64-team field is announced Sunday.

CU will face No. 4 seed Seton Hall in the first game of the double-elimination conference tournament at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mason, Ohio.
