Maggie Maher and Jason Long

Maggie Maher and Jason Long were united in marriage on April 1, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church in Omaha by Pastor Larry Argenbright. The reception was held at the Hilton in downtown Omaha.

The bride, Maggie Maher, is the daughter of Brian and Peg Maher of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Nadine Lindgren of Fremont, Nebraska, and the late Donald and Helen Maher. She graduated from Kearney High School, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently attaining her Master's degree from Doane College. She is employed by Elkhorn Public Schools as a special education teacher.

The groom, Jason Long, is the son of Doug and Ann Long of Elkhorn. He is the grandson of Jim and Jo Long of Alma, NE, and Monte and Marlys Scott of Omaha. He graduated from Elkhorn High School, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently attending UNMC School of Medicine.

Lindsey Luly sister of the bride, was in attendance along with Nicole Arp, Katelyn Evans, Ellen Mangieri, Ashley Arp, Robyn Loos and Niki Deeds. Maela Maher, Barrett Luly and Jace Deeds were the flower children.

Spencer Long brother of the groom, was in attendance along with Dan Wolgamott, Tyler Evans, Seth Jameson, Jake Cotton, Matt Lentz, Brett Maher and Chris Luly.

The couple met while attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The couple currently resides in Omaha.
