Nick Cairney and Emily Korus

On February 3, 2018, Nick Cairney and Emily Korus were united in marriage at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont by Father Eliot Schwer.

Nick Cairney is the son of Brian and Susan Cairney of Omaha and grandson of Ferd and Ramona Schrage of Petersburg, Nebraska, and Richard and Cecelia Cairney of Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Benedictine College and is now employed by CD2 Learning in Overland Park, Kansas, as a software engineer. In attendance for the groom was brother Zachary Cairney and friends Joe Sobczyk, Will Byers, Neal Colaric, Jake Connealy, Brendan Quinn, Brad Steffen and Sean Anderson.

Emily Korus is the daughter of Dale and Mary Sue Korus of Arlington, Nebraska. She is the grandaughter of Darlene Korus of Lindsay, Nebraska. She graduated from Benedictine College and is now employed as a teacher at St. Patrick's in Kansas City, Kansas. In attendance for the bride was sister Elizabeth Korus and friends Erin Daly, Emily Seymour, Danika Lang, Vitoria Weise, Serena Quinn, Courtney Tietz and Theadora Gomez.

The couple met freshman year at Benedictine College. They honeymooned in Mexico and make their home in Mission, Kansas.
